Robert Brunnlechner

Composer, arranger

Born 1970 in St. Pölten (Lower Austria) Bassoon-studies at the Vienna Conservatory with Michael Werba, along with studies of music and theater sciences and of Romance. Since 1995 teacher of a bassoon class at the Music School of St. Pölten. As a chamber musician international concerts with the Ensemble of the XXth Century. Since 1996 commitment as First bassoonist in the Municipal Orchestra of Baden. Collaboration with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Extensive work as a composer of works for symphony orchestra, wind orchestra and chamber music. Performances of his works in many European countries, furthermore in Lebanon, Iran, South Korea and North Korea.

2012 First Prize and Audience Award at the "Zeitklang"-competition (Krems, Austria) for his wind band composition "Bekenntnisse einer Burenwurst".

2017 Second Prize at the competition of the “Wiener Concert-Verein” (Vienna) for the symphonic work “Ouverture zu einer Comödie”
